I have a Digitakt (using Overbridge 2), Live 10 and a Push 2.
Elektron Overbridge has a Digitakt AU/VST plugin, which mirrors parameter changes from the plugin to the hardware, and visa versa.
If I configure/map a parameter for the plugin, it will show up on the Push 2, and if I change it on the Push 2, I see it changing the corresponding encoder on the Digitakt Hardware and Plugin.
This is all great, but I want the Digitakt to talk back: If I change the corresponding rotary encoder on the Digitakt, it won't change the value on the Push 2.
Is there anyway I can make this happen?
I have Port Config → Encoder Destination → INT+EXT on the Digitakt hardware.
(Remember, changing the hardware rotary encoder does change the plugin parameter automatically, but it's not received to the mapped Push 2 rotary encoder, which is what i'm looking for.
How to connect your Digitakt drum sampler to Ableton Live, and record loops in perfect sync with Elektron's rad new Overbridge 2 plugin. Part one (this part). Ableton Live Mixing Template for Elektron Digitakt Atlas Castle This template is far from being perfect, it’s still an early version (+ I'm not a studio engineer). But it still does the work for Live purpose and can definitely save you some time in your workflow.
A beginner question I’m wondering if you can use the Digitakt as an audio interface where you can record its inputs through overbridge. Lol mastery. Like plug in a guitar and be able to record it into ableton through the digitakt.
